Clint Taylor, a native of Bruce, Mississippi, has been employed in the restaurant business for more than fifteen years. He has been a resident of Hattiesburg since 1988 and attended the University of Southern Mississippi. He has been associated with the Purple Parrot Company of Hattiesburg since 1988, and has held the positions of bar manager and restaurant manager. He presently serves as general manager / chief operations officer and treasurer of the Purple Parrot Company, Inc. which operates Crescent City Grill, Purple Parrot Café and the Mahogany Bar, as well as partner of Family Fish House, LLC.
Current president of the Mississippi Restaurant Association, Taylor is a member of the National Restaurant Association and a past president of the Hattiesburg Restaurant Association. He currently serves on the Board of Directors fo the Mississippi Restaurant Association, and chairs the Legislative Affairs Committee. Taylor hosts monthly wine tastings at his restaurants and participates in two private wine tasting groups. He was recently accepted into the Guild of Sommeliers, an elite association of wine experts.
Taylor resides in Hattiesburg with his wife, Beth and daughters, Riley and Anna Brice.
